PARC-Plymouth Arts & Recreation
Community Forum at Penn Theatre
PARC-Plymouth Arts & Recreation Complex will hold a Community Forum on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Penn Theatre. PARC will update the community on its future plans to preserve and re-purpose the historic former Plymouth High/Central Middle School into an Arts and Recreation Center and add a new Performing Arts Center as well as respond to questions.
This is an exciting time for PARC and the greater Plymouth Community. Everyone is invited to witness the progress made since its inception, and share in the vision for the future. Preliminary designs, site plans, and renderings of the facilities will be on display and available for public review.
Don Soenen, PARC President, stated that “After two years of successful operation, PARC has far surpassed all reasonable initial expectations; this should provide the community great confidence in PARC’s future.” Recent independent survey data indicate that an overwhelming majority of Plymouth City and Township residents believe that PARC “adds value” to our community; this bodes well for the future.
PARC is a 501(c)3 public charity, leading the effort to convert the historic Central Middle School and the 16.6 acres on which it stands, into an arts, education and recreation complex serving the Greater Plymouth Community.
